Recycled polystyrene
For maximum environmental protection
Polystyrene is a material that, in addition to being non-toxic, is not deterioriated by external agents such as bacteria and fungi; it is therefore the ideal material for food containers. It is also a material that is resistant to moisture and mould because it is impermeable to water; it is easily transportable, so there is a considerable saving in fuel. Recycled polystyrene packaging pollutes neither the soil nor the atmosphere.
Recycling EPS (Polystyrene)
Polystyrene can be reused and recycled.
It can be ground into small particles and can re-fill foam products, it can be ground into a powder and used as a filler in concrete, it can be melted to make adhesives and it can be compacted and melted again to make pellets and injection moulded parts.
Collecting and transporting polystyrene waste has not been so efficient due to its light weight, it must be compacted to reduce the amount of waste before transporting it to recycling and reuse services.
Isospa reuses and recycles polystyrene through compaction; for scrap collection, please contact the team for more information.
